I recently purchased your Whistle Recall DVD, and I really like it. I have a wonderful Standard Poodle who does many things well. However, he’s never had a consistent recall (other than in the ring). So, I bought your DVD, followed your instructions, and voila! I now have a dog who does a very nice recall (other than if he’s chasing deer or squirrels, but we’re working on that). Thanks very much for a DVD with very clear instructions and wonderful demonstrations by your pups. —Rhonda |

I bought your Clicker/Rally book. Simon (my reactive Golden retriever, now 7 years old) was deemed dumb, aggressive, will never be a show dog. I bought your book, worked for 6 months, and Simon took 2 first places in his first Novice Rally. We are now working on our RAE (We have 4 legs). Two weeks ago I bought your "whistle recall " DVD, and I just wanted to say a big thank you to you for producing such a good DVD, I tend to rush things, especially reading ! so it was great to have to listen and watch how each step has to be taught.
This morning I took my dogs out after I got back from a night shift ( prison guard ) and without thinking let all 3 aussies out of my car on a small normally deserted farm road, the youngest chases vehicles and so I was horrified to see a car coming towards us, Fred also saw it and just as he started to go I grabbed my whistle and blew it, Fred turned round and raced back to me ! and sat while I gave him a mega jackpot of chicken.
I realise that I was taking a risk after just 2 weeks of training and could easily have set us back along way in our recall training, but I'm really impressed and am going to stick to the training schedule. Thank you, —Mandy Bootsma,

Congratulations on your new DVD for teaching the Whistle Recall. That is certainly one of the most valuable things you ever taught me. So glad that more people will have access to this really cool method for getting a dog to come when called. I used to live on 2.5 wooded acres in Franklin Lakes, NJ. Although it was mostly fenced in, I was always afraid of letting my dogs loose out there because they did not want to come back in the house when I called them. Chasing wildlife and having fun was more important to them than coming when called. Several times I got to work late because I could not get them to come back in the house. I could only have them out on leash on work days.
The Whistle Recall changed all that. In a very short time I could blow the whistle with the pattern that you showed me, Neko & Yeti (Akitas) and Gypsy (Malinois) would come charging at full speed to come in the house. Away from a deer carcass! It was awesome!! The Whistle Recall gave me a way to compete with all the outdoor distractions that they love and they found it very reinforcing and fun to come when called.
Although I now live in a smaller space, I can take them on nature walks or to the beach, off lead, and have the confidence that I can call them in at anytime with your Whistle Recall. Thank you again. I am recommending your Whistle Recall DVD to everyone I know who has a dog. —Daniel D |

Not surprising that Pam has developed an innovative way to help us keep our dogs safe! This invaluable DVD will lead us all to improve our handling skills, communication and relationship with our dogs. Too many times we see the unfortunate fate of a dog being chased while the owner is frantically running and screaming at their dog to come to them. Pam's "positive motivation" mindset, skills and practices on this DVD could, very well, save your dog's life! I loved the part where Shadow, Beau and Emma were swimming in the lake, Pam whistled for them and all three flew right to her - amazing!
